The Belk-Lindsey Department Store

The Belk-Lindsey department store with its Art Deco detailing opened at 101 South Andrews Avenue in the early 1950s. It advertised itself as “Fort Lauderdale’s complete new department store,” and featured a “top floor bargain basement.” By 1962, Belk’s moved to a Pompano location. (P2256.)
