The Landmark Hotel was located off the Las Vegas strip in Las Vegas across the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center. It was patterned after the Seattle Space Needle and added a futuristic touch to the flying saucer–shaped rotunda of the convention center across the street. At the top of the building was a bar and lounge that offered spectacular views of the city below.
