The Tenneco Building

Arcadia

The Tenneco Building in Houston exhibits many of the modern design elements found throughout today’s newer downtown architecture. At the time of its completion in 1963, it was Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill’s tallest contribution to the skyline. The building is located at 1010 Milam Street and is now known as the El Paso Energy Building. (Courtesy of Daniel E. Monsanto.)
