A block east of Main Street, U.S. Highway 67 motorists might have pulled up in front of the Malvern Post Office to drop a postcard in the mailbox out front. The Methodist church on the east side of the post office bought it in the 1970s and wrapped a remodeled, expanded church around the building, leaving it unrecognizable. A new post office had opened farther back down East Page Avenue. Among the postcards dropped in the box at the vintage Malvern Post Office were some like the one seen here, showing a giant fish chasing a man through a lake, “The Fish Keep You Busy Here.” Printed for local merchants, the postcard would have been among the stock at cafés and other businesses located along U.S. Highway 67.
