According to Jerry Torell, this photograph comes from around 1903 and features his grandfather Frank Oscar Boeck and his grandmother Anna Boeck standing in the door with their four children, Felix (8), Lothar (6), Erna (3), and Elsa (Jerry’s mother, 2) Built in 1892, the Hotel Columbia, pictured here, was located at 4900 Rainier Avenue South, Columbia City, and is now Lottie’s Lounge.
