Temecula Railroad Depot

Arcadia

Pictured is the Temecula Railroad Depot in Temecula. The original station, called Linda Rosa, stood near today’s Diaz and Winchester Road and was moved in the mid-1890s to the location pictured, now the parking lot of the Pechanga Resort and Casino, between the creek and today’s Pujol Street, north of Main Street in Temecula. The station was remodeled in 1898. On the right are the Vail Company warehouse and the Temecula lumberyard. (Courtesy of Temecula Valley Museum.)
