This original photograph is of Sneed Hall on the Texas Tech University (known as Texas Tech) campus. On the reverse of this photograph is written “September 16, 1941—Texas Tech Lubbock—Sneed Hall.” Sneed Hall was built in 1938 and was used as a men’s dormitory. When one enters the campus from the main Broadway entrance, Sneed is the first building to the north. (Courtesy of Russell Hill.)
