There were postcards made for Riverside Roller Skating Arena in Livonia. The back of the card advertises, “One of Michigan’s finest roller rinks, located 7 miles from Detroit City limits on U.S. 12. A half acre to play and two acres to park.” The first version of the rink opened in 1940 but was blown down during a windstorm. The current version is actually the third Riverside Arena.
