This organizational chart shows the leadership of Foley's department store in 1978. In the photograph, the merchandise managers are pictured at their annual Christmas lunch. The tradition included updating a scrapbook called “The Book of the Departed,” so named because each year a photograph of the current group was added, along with a footnote about those who had left the store. The participants for this year’s lunch were, from left to right, (first row) Lasker Meyer, Linda Hagler, Shirley Gard, Bill Kaplan, and Bob Lindley; (second row) Matt Spiegel, Lowell Whitlock, Harris Miller, Jim Ivester, Joe Sternberg, Laddie Luljak, Ed Friedman, Harold Kaminsky, Bud Goldstein, and Donald Stone.
